Aant Elzinga

Biografi

Aant Hindricx Elzinga är född den 22 Nov 1937, i Bolsward (Friesland), Nederländerna. Flyttade till Kanada 1948 och senare till Sverige 1967. Bosatt i Göteborg.
Han fick licentiattiteln 1968 och doktorsgraden 1971. Elzinga har varit professor i idéhistoria och vetenskapsteori vid Göteborgs universitet och är numera professor emeritus.

Egna verk:

Dissertationer: ”Seventeenth century studies on relative motion” (London UC, UK 1964: for Master of Science degree, MSc; stored on microfiche at the Senate House, London University); ”Normal and revolutionary science, with special reference to traditions” (Göteborgs universitet 1968: for Filosofie Licentiatexamen, FL); ”On a research program in early modern physics with special reference to the work of Chr Huygens” (Göteborgs universitet 1971: for Filosofie Doktorexamen, FD).
